These Under-Eye Products are Like Plexaderm With Longer-Lasting Results

I’m convinced that none of us can escape dark eye circles and under-eye bags. If it isn’t genetics passed down from our parents and grandparents, it’s a chaotic schedule that convinces us to trade in rest for more work. Before you know it, there isn’t enough concealer in the world to hide the fact that you’re routinely getting less than eight hours of sleep every night. And even if you come to your senses and set some boundaries between the bed and your work desk, skincare products that work like Plexaderm feel like a necessity because the damage is sort-of done.

For those who don’t know, Plexaderm has been around for a while but exists just below the radar of what’s crazy popular because it exists inside a neverending list of products that promise to nix dark circles, bags, and fine lines. And while there are plenty that actually delivers results, what sets Plexaderm a part is instant gratification. The product, best described as a serum, is made up of silicate minerals derived from shale clay that tighten and lift the skin surrounding the eye in as little as 10 minutes. The downside? Its effects end when you wash your face at the end of the day.

I’m Obsessed With My Skechers, & I Want The World To Know

The time has come for me to write my very first love letter (TATBILB style, natch) and of course, I’m writing it to shoes. To all the sneakers I’ve loved before: Sorry, buy y’all have nothing on my Skechers.

If you’re one of those people who only associates Skechers with the light-up, velcro-closure styles of your youth or the Shape-Ups in the back of your mom’s closet, I’m going to need you to put all prior opinions aside. My Skechers D’Lites 3.0s are my most complimented footwear—cue the Kanye voice—of all time, and I’m bringing you this Skechers D’Lites and Energy review to call your attention to a variety of cute kicks you might’ve never before considered shopping. My collection started with one animal-printed pair, and I’ve now amassed a whopping five pairs of Skechers, with hundreds of wear and absolutely zero regrets.

Skechers cow print

Bella Gerard

It all started when Skechers dropped a pair of now-sold-out cow-printed kicks exclusively for Urban Outfitters back in 2019. I snatched them up immediately thinking they’d be the perfect off-duty kicks, to be worn on weekends spent running errands. As a ~fashion editor in New York City~, I’m constantly running around in itty-bitty heels or sky-high boots—I’ve always seen sneakers as a practical last resort, never a style opportunity. That said, celebs like Hailey Bieber have made athleisure one of fashion’s biggest trends, and after five (5!) strangers complimented my Skechers when paired with my workout gear, I decided to start pairing them with some kick-flare jeans for work. Then, I paired them with a black body con midi-dress for happy hour. Pretty soon, I couldn’t get dressed without working my Skechers into the mix. It was at this point I realized I’d become a Skechers stan without even noticing.

Skechers energy sneakers

Skechers

A moment of silence for my OG faves, which are now sold out. I wear them with caution now, since I know I can’t repurchase, but I’m happy to announce that there are a ton of other on-trend styles on the Skechers site right now, so hope is not lost. In search of the perfect chunky white dad trainers and determined not to buy the same Filas as every other girl in my friend group, I took a chance on the Energy Sneakers and was more than pleasantly surprised. Not only are these the perfect basic white sneakers, but the chunky sole isn’t just for style! It’s comfy AF! I wear these running around on weekends, but also paired with my favorite jeans and statement coats for casual transitional-weather looks. Obsessed.

Eager to find a little pop of color for spring and summer, I also snagged the Over Joy Energy Sneakers, which boast a bold orange wave along the uppers. Another hit! While I find my all-white Energy kicks are great to dress up or down, my Over Joy pair are ideal for giving a look a more athletic, street style flair. At first, I worried the neon hue would be hard to style, but I’ve found it really fun to contrast the bright color with simpler pieces.

Last but not least, I had to get another pair of D’Lites, as they’re the style that first ignited this passionate footwear love affair. While my cow-printed pair are statement-making, and my Energy picks are great for styling, I wanted a more classic, low-key pair of sneakers exclusively for workouts and errands. Personally, I find the D’Lites to be the most comfortable Skechers of all, no doubt thanks to the cushy Air Cooled Memory Foam insoles, so I got the Biggest Fan D’Lites in a neutral black-and-white design. These are my new throw-on-with-leggings go-tos, so I can keep my cow-printed OGs lasting longer and my two white Energy pairs crisp and clean.

If you’ve been sleeping on Skechers, consider this your wake-up call. The athleisure trend isn’t going anywhere, and pairing your best looks with sneakers is all the rage in terms of both comfort and style this season. TBH, I’d be lying if I told you I won’t be adding a few new pairs of Skechers to my collection over the next few months. I can’t help myself.

The Best Non-Drying Facial Cleansing Bars For Every Skin Type

Bar soap isn’t exactly the most glamourous of skincare products on the market, but there’s a reason this old-school beauty product is making a major comeback. In fact, bar face washes tend to get a bad rap because many of the gold standard formulas tend to dry out the skin, leaving it feeling uncomfortably tight and parched. But, while gel, cream, balm, and oil cleansers are all the rage at the moment, (especially if you’re an avid double-cleanser), there’s something to be said about the fuss-free efficacy of the simple bathroom staple.

Now, we’re certainly not suggesting that you should go ahead and use any old bar soap on your face—in fact, we’re advising against it—but there is a slew of benefits to opting for traditional solid cleansers. Not only do they tend to be less expensive than their liquid counterparts, but they’re also usually free of harsh and drying ingredients like sodium lauryl sulphate, and are instead infused with a blend of humectants and emollients to counteract the potential for causing dryness. So, even if you have dry and/or sensitive skin, the popular belief that cleansing bars are the enemy is actually quite the contrary, but they’re also great for acne-prone and oily skin types as well.

Our mission at STYLECASTER is to bring style to the people, and we only feature products we think you’ll love as much as we do. Skincare-Infused Foundations That Multitask

I absolutely live for multitasking beauty products—they save time and cut down on the fuss factor. While foundation, concealer, and other complexion-enhancing face products tend to get a bad rap for being pore-clogging and breakout-inducing, there are surprisingly plenty of makeup-skincare hybrids infused with skin-loving active ingredients that not only help to conceal your imperfections, but that actually improve them over time. These multipurpose foundations not only help you fake perfect skin, but they can actually help blast away breakouts, soften the appearance of fine lines, erode uneven texture and brighten up a dull complexion with continuous use.

Now, we’re certainly not suggesting that you should completely swear off your normal skincare line-up in lieu of these skin-enhancing bases, but if you’re going to wear one anyway, why not opt for one that’s super-charged with built-in skincare benefits? Rather than relying on makeup to disguise our flaws, it seems logical to invest in a product that will actually reduce the need for foundation by tackling common skin woes. Check out some of our favorite bases that not only camouflage redness, acne, and fine lines, but also help to get rid of them while they’re at it.

These ‘Bachelor’ Women Tell All Spoilers Hint at the Next Bachelorette

Warning: Spoilers for The Bachelor season 24 ahead. As Bachelor Nation members know, the “Women Tell All” episodes never disappoint when it comes to drama and tears. And rumor has it that the Bachelor “Women Tell All” 2020 spoilers are no exception.

We’re down to the line on Peter Weber’s season of The Bachelor. In two weeks will be the finale, where viewers will finally learn who Pilot Pete chooses between Victoria F., Madison and Hannah Ann. Viewers will also learn who Peter’s mom is throat-crying about in the preview that’s been teased since the first episode of the season. But until then, we have the “Women Tell All” episode, where fan favorites (and love-to-hate contestants) from Peter’s season reunite for two drama-filled hours. Will we learn the truth about Alayah and Victoria P.’s friendship pre-Bachelor? What will Tammy say to Mykenna when she sees her for the first time after she was sent home on her two-on-one date with Peter? And who the hell will be the next Bachelorette?

Reality Steve, the internet’s go-to source for Bachelor spoilers, has the tea on who’s pissed, who’s heartbroken and who producers want as the series’ next Bachelorette. Find out these answers and more ahead.

The Bachelor season 24 “Women Tell All” episode airs on ABC on Monday, March 2, at 8 p.m. ET.

The Episode Starts With a Rose Ceremony

The Bachelor

Reality Steve revealed on Twitter that “Women Tell All” will include some of The Bachelor finale. The episode picks up with Peter, Hannah Ann and Victoria F. at the final three Rose Ceremony as they wonder where Madison is. This, of course, leads to the next spoiler about who’s eliminated.

Madison Pauses When Peter Gives Her a Rose

The Bachelor - Madison

Image: ABC/Maarten de Boer.

According to Reality Steve, Peter gives his first rose to Hannah Ann, who accepts. He then gives a rose to Madison, who pauses when Peter says her name before she takes the rose as well. This means that Victoria F. was eliminated in the final three, which shouldn’t come as a surprise to fans given her drama with Peter at Hometown Dates.

Kelley Doesn’t Attend

The Bachelor - Kelley

Image: ABC/Maarten de Boer.

Kelley was a frontrunner on Peter’s season after viewers learned that they met before filming began. However, Kelley was eliminated in the final five after their relationship fizzled out. Still, fans expected her to be at the “Women Tell All.” But Reality Steve claims that she wasn’t invited, despite the fact that Kelley was in Los Angeles at the same time the “Women Tell All” filmed. Why wasn’t she there? Well, Reality Steve believes it’s because production doesn’t like her, which makes sense given that Kelley often called out Peter and talked about how the Bachelor process may not have been for her.

Natasha Also Doesn’t Attend

Bachelor 2020: Natasha

Image: ABC/Maarten de Boer.

Reality Steve also claims that Natasha, who was eliminated in the final six, doesn’t attend the “Women Tell All.” We’re not sure on the reason, but both Kelley and Natasha were critical of Peter during his season, so that could possibly be why they weren’t invited to attend. As for who’s there, Reality Steve confirms that Katrina, Maurissa, Alexa, Kylie, Sarah, Kiarra, DeAndra, Savannah, Alayah, Victoria F., Kelsey, McKenna, Victoria P., Sydney, Lexi, Shiann and Tammy attend, which should give us a look at who will be on season 7 of Bachelor in Paradise.

Victoria F. Denies the Home Wrecker Allegations

The Bachelor - Victoria

Image: ABC/Maarten de Boer.

Reality Steve also revealed that Victoria F. was one of two women who was interviewed with Peter during the “Women Tell All.” As expected, Victoria F. was asked about the allegations that she home wrecked her friends’ relationships and broke up their marriages, which she denied. Reality Steve did note that Victoria F. apologized to Peter for her behavior on his season.

Kelsey Gets a Bachelorette Edit

The Bachelor - Kelsey

Image: ABC/Maarten de Boer.

Kelsey is the only other woman who was interviewed with Peter during the “Women Tell All.” According to Reality Steve, she was given a sympathetic edit, which means that she’s definitely in the running to be the next Bachelorette. At the end of her interview, Ashley Iaconetti, who was in the audience, came to the stage to applaud her for being so open about her emotions on the show. Ashley I. also gave her a massive bottle of champagne, which is an obvious nod to her #ChampagneGate.

Tammy Talks Over Everyone

Bachelor 2020: Tammy

Image: ABC/Maarten de Boer.

Reality Steve claims that the main fight at the “Women Tell All” is between Tammy and Sydney, who talk over each other. Another arguments happen between Lexi and Tammy (with Shiann between them), which also becomes heated. Apparently, Tammy became so intense at the “Women Tell All” that Chris Harrison had to remind her to not talk over other people, according to Reality Steve.

The Women Turn on Victoria P.

Bachelor 2020: Victoria P

Image: ABC/Maarten de Boer.

Alayah and Victoria P.’s feud was a main storyline on Peter’s season. According to Reality Steve, Alayah claimed at the “Women Tell All” that Victoria P. was a good, supportive friend to her, but was completely different on the show. (Which is what the women accused Alayah of acting.) Reality Steve claims that the women, specifically Savannah, went in on Victoria P. and turned on her.

Peter Reveals He’s “Happy”

The Bachelor: Peter

Image: ABC.

The “Women Tell All” also included a segment where the women asked Peter their questions. For the most part, Reality Steve claims that there were no hard-hitting moments other than someone asking Peter if he regretted being involved in the women’s drama, which led to less time for other women to spend with him. After he responded with a roundabout answer, the women pointed out that he avoided the question, which led to him apologizing to the contestants that he didn’t spend more time with. In the end, the women asked Peter if he’s “happy,” which he responded yes. As for what that means, fans likely won’t know until the finale, which will reveal who Peter ends up with (if he ends up with anyone.)

Rachel Lindsay Calls Out Racist Bachelor Fans

Instagram PhotoSource: Instagram

At one point in the “Women Tell All,” Reality Steve claims that season 13 Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay came out to read racist tweets she’s received from Bachelor fans. The segment was meant to reveal the bullying that Bachelor contestants face after the TV show.

Hannah Ann & Madison Meet Peter’s Parents

The Bachelor - Hannah Ann

Image: ABC/Maarten de Boer.

Reality Steve also reveals that the “Women Tell All” ended with a preview of The Bachelor finale, where Hannah Ann and Madison meet Peter’s parents. (Or in Madison’s case, she re-meets Peter’s parents.) The preview doesn’t reveal much, other than that Madison doesn’t break up with Peter right away, as fans theorize. Instead, she hangs around long enough to see his parents again.

Kendall Jenner Is Willing to be Beyoncé’s Personal Assistant to Learn All Her Secrets & Same

There isn’t much that’s off-limits to this Keeping Up With the Kardashian’s star. But like the rest of us, there is one person who’s kind of untouchable to her: Beyoncé. It’s why Kendall Jenner wants to be Beyoncé’s personal assistant—it’s perhaps the only way to get a glimpse into the life of a living legend.

Kendall, 24, isn’t shy when it comes to fangirling from time to time. And if it has to do with Beyoncé, we don’t blame her. In a new behind-the-scenes video for her Spring 2020 Calvin Klein campaign released on Feb. 28, the supermodel declared that she would be absolutely interested in becoming Queen Bey’s personal assistant—even for a year.

“If I had to be a personal assistant for a year, I’d pick Beyoncé,” she said. “Just ’cause I wanna know what she eats in the morning. I just wanna know what she has for breakfast.” Ok, Kendall, we see you—clearly, you clicked through that viral Beyoncé personal assistant thread on Twitter.

Kendall also weighed in on why a role like this would finally give her a glimpse into Bey’s life. She has so many questions for the ultra-private star. “I just really need to know what TV shows she watches,” Kendall wondered. “Like do you watch Bachelor in Paradise? Because if so, we should be best friends!” (And now we know Kendall watches Bachelor in Paradise.)

Instagram PhotoSource: Instagram

As for why Kendall hasn’t just asked one of her sisters to connect her with the star, perhaps she’s trying to forge a personal connection? But it wouldn’t seem out of the question—after all, her little sis Kylie Jenner and older sisters Kim, Kourtney, and Khloé Kardashian were all in attendance at Bey’s exclusive Oscars after-party in Feb. 2020 (Maybe Kendall was reuniting with Dad Caitlyn Jenner at a separate party like last year?)

We’ll keep our fingers crossed for you, Kendall. And who knows—Kendall might not be able to start working for Beyoncé, but Blue Ivy might be hiring for a new personal shopper!

Ashley Benson Just Took the Suit Dress to a Whole New Level at the Balmain PFW Show

As I’m sure most of you have noticed, suits are one of the reigning trends of 2020 so far. After dominating the year 2019, suiting has become even more prevalent—If that’s even possible—in the new decade. With each trend, though, comes offshoots and variations on a theme. For instance, fashionistas and celebrities have been wearing their suits in dress form, combining both the classic silhouettes of a suit and mini dress. A perfect example of this new trend is the outfit Ashley Benson wore at Balmain’s Paris Fashion Week show on Friday. And not only did the actress wear this trend, but she brought it to an entirely new level.

If I’m being honest, I’ve never been a huge fan of the suit dress trend. The combination has never excited me much, and I’d much rather see a unique suit or a gorgeous dress—not both turned into a kind of weird mash-up ensemble. That being said, Ashley Benson may have changed my mind. The suit/tuxedo dress Benson wore to the Balmain Paris Fashion Week show was so exquisite, I think I might just hop onto this trend train.

Featuring over-the-top buttons and shoulder-less sleeves, this suit dress was anything but average. Oftentimes suit dresses look unoriginal or boring—but not this one. This stunning dress featured a loose but not slouchy silhouette with the perfect air of playfulness. The expert tailoring and sexy (but not overtly sexy) aspects of the suit dress also played major roles in making this look one for the books. Plus, Ashley Benson just looked hot as hell in it.

The actress was joined in the front row of Balmain’s show by myriad other celebrities, including Shailene Woodley. I couldn’t help but feel the teensiest wince of FOMO after seeing all the chic celebs attending this Paris Fashion Week runway, but at least I’ll always have the photos.

Zoë Kravitz Had the Best Response to Someone Who Asked if She Got Lip Fillers

In today’s edition of hilarious celebrity clapbacks, we’ve got Zoë Kravitz’s response to plastic surgery lip filler questions. The Big Little Lies actress had no time for the foolishness taking place in her Instagram comments section after she posted a photo to the social media platform on Feb. 26.

Zoë captioned the selfie, “pre @ysl show vibes @yslbeauty Rouge Pur Couture Slim Sheer Matte 102 + Natural Pink and Volupte Liquid Balm 1 💋,” highlighting the makeup products she used to achieve her perfect pout on display in the photo. Yet someone assumed the actress had work done to her lips instead.

A user by the name of @annasagi1 commented, “Babe, what have u done to your beautiful natural lips?? 🙏🏻🙏🏻.” Yep, I’ll let that one sink in for a moment before we get into why Zoë literally had to remind this person that, A) lipgloss can do wonders for plumping and, B) this is how her lips have always looked.

Even though Zoë didn’t owe this random, invasive commenter an answer, she set the record straight anyway. “um. put some lipgloss on them .. .” she wrote in response. You’d think that’d be the end of it. Yet confusion seemingly ran high for this commenter and others who were convinced the actress had altered her lips.

Instagram PhotoSource: Instagram

Zoë clapped back once and for all with another response: “these are my lips. all pure,” she wrote, “the equivalent as they always been.” And that’s on that.

Others began weighing in on the obvious here. On the one hand, nobody should ever feel entitled to knowing whether or not anyone else has had work done. On the other hand, that shouldn’t even be a discussion here. As one commenter wrote, “Don’t you know that black woman are made this way..we don’t need fillers 🙄🙄,” while another pretty much sums up how we’re feeling about this whole strange situation: “Don’t play with black ladies like that Ever.”
