These Online Classes Make the Perfect Last-Minute Gifts To Send Online

The holidays are going to look a little different for us this year thanks to the pandemic and strict social distancing measures, and many of us are going to be celebrating with our friends and family virtually instead of IRL out of precaution. Frankly though, even prior to the pandemic, having the forethought to shop for a present, wrap it and ship it off in time is something that can seem nearly impossible. Look, we totally get it — life gets busy (yes, even when we’re working from home and barely leaving the house), and it’s easy to leave gift shopping until the very last second before it’s literally almost too late.

Whether you’re a life-long procrastinator with a reliable history of waiting until Christmas Eve basically every single year to start shopping for gifts for everyone on your list or are just looking for an easy way to deliver a thoughtful gift virtually this year, there are plenty of online classes that make perfect gifts for everyone on your list that you can send instantly via email—whether you’re planning on seeing the giftee in question or not.

From MasterClass subscriptions offering a selection of premium online classes taught by industry icons including David Lynch, Anna Wintour, and NBA star Stephen Curry to legit virtual cooking courses that will teach even the most culinary clueless among us how to bake a loaf of stellar sourdough bread or a full-blown holiday feast that’ll impress even your most judgy distant relatives. Of course, for the recent college grads or perhaps those giftees on your list ready for a career change, there also plenty of practical business-focused options to sharpen up their office skills too. Because hey, there’s no harm in giving a gift that they’ll not only actually use, but also benefit from, right?

Our mission at STYLECASTER is to bring style to the people, and we only feature products we think you’ll love as much as we do. Please note that if you purchase something by clicking on a link within this story, we may receive a small commission of the sale.

Debby Ryan Just Chopped Her Hair Into A Mullet & Fans Are Loving It

She’s not the first and she won’t be the last. But Debby Ryan’s mullet haircut might be the most surprising. “Also cut a bunch of hair off my head last month or whenever,” the actress wrote on Instagram showing off her much shorter cut with choppy fringe and longer layers in the back. She also shared a sped-up video of the haircut process and it’s fascinating to see strands just continue to fall.

Hairstylist Kristin Ess was responsible for the cut, as well as Ryan’s ever-changing hair colors. She acknowledged that fact on Instagram. “Girl, after all those projects and all those 180° hair changes, that hair probably could have cut itself 馃槀 thank you for trusting me 馃枻,” she said. Ryan obviously loves her new look. “Thanks for fielding a year’s worth of erratic texts and calendar invites and turning them into this. she’s finally here with us,” she wrote back.

Famous friends are losing it over 2020’s version of the mullet. “You’re also so cool – sheesh,” said Demi Lovato, who just cut off all her hair, too! “This shag is cool as hell,” wrote Alison Brie, saying what we’re all thinking.

Instagram PhotoSource: Instagram

We’re not sure if Ryan has yet another project which calls for this new look or she’s just finally doing something for herself. We’ve seen her switch up her Disney Channel-esque red hair to platinum blonde, purple, and all shades of brunette. Somehow, she pulls off each one. But there’s something about this extremely cool 2020 mullet that feels like a grown-up version of Debby Ryan, someone that’s really coming into herself and that’s fun to see.

Whoa, I Did Not Have Travis Scott’s Byredo Collab On My 2020 Bingo Card

When you’re looking to pick up a candle or fragrance as a present, shelling out for Byredo goodies is a great idea. The cult-favorite scents have lifelong fans and for good reason. Plus, the packaging is iconic on its own and makes great home decor. This holiday season, the brand is rolling out even more of a must-have collection. Byredo x Travis Scott launches today online and both the fragrance and candle are already flying off the virtual shelves.

The rapper teamed up with Byredo’s Ben Gorham on a limited-edition fragrance and scented candle, called Travx Space Rage. It’s supposed to smell, well, like space, with top notes of “cosmic dust” and “antimatter particles,” middle notes of “starlight, the scent of supernova,” and base notes of “atmospheric vapor, dark nebulae.” No, we’re not sure what that means either but it seems you have to try it to find out.

The packaging is all Byredo with a Travis Scott twist. These are sure to be collector’s items.

Our mission at STYLECASTER is to bring style to the people, and we only feature products we think you’ll love as much as we do. Please note that if you purchase something by clicking on a link within this story, we may receive a small commission of the sale.

Byredo doesn’t do many collaborations but Scott isn’t new to them. He’s had sold-out collections with Nike, Helmut Lang and even McDonald’s.

If you have a Travis Scott fan in your life, there’s really nothing better you could get them right now than a piece of this limited-edition collection—especially since we can’t see him IRL anytime soon. And hey, if that fan is yourself, there’s no shame. Per WWD, the degrad茅 glass containers holding the fragrance and candle have glow-in-the-dark, phosphorescent lettering. These for sure double as unique home decor so it’s a two-for-one.

These Memes Are the Best Thing to Come Out of ‘The Undoing’s Finale

At least we can all relate to The Undoing‘s finale memes. Right now, fans of the HBO limited series are either commiserating or absolutely clowning themselves for falling for the show’s obvious ending. So, if you want to join in on the meme action too, keep on reading for the best ones yet. Warning: There are spoilers ahead for The Undoing season finale on HBO.

Unless you’ve managed to avoid social media since The Undoing’s finale aired on Sunday, November 29, then you already know that the HBO limited series finally revealed whodunit: Jonathan Fraser, a.k.a. the show’s most obvious murder suspect.

Hugh Grant stars as the killer in question, a pediatric oncologist married to Grace, a Manhattan therapist played by Nicole Kidman. At the show’s onset, audiences learn Johnathan was fired from his job for having an affair with the murder victim—a mother at his son’s school, who was bludgeoned to death. That connection immediately makes him suspect numero uno, but The Undoing makes leaps and bounds to convince viewers otherwise. Suspects ranged from Grace herself, to Donald Sutherland, who played Grace’s protective father, to Grace’s best friend, Sylvia. But, nope. The killer was hiding in plain sight all along; The Undoing just distracted us long enough to fall for it (or maybe it was Hugh Grant. All that charisma, you know?)

The series concludes with Johnathan on the run, as flashbacks reveal that, yes, he murdered his mistress all along. Needless to say, fans on Twitter had…feelings. For some of the best reactions and The Undoing finale memes, scroll ahead.

Shop Le Labo For Less Via The Laundress’ Cyber Monday Sale—No, This Is Not A Drill

End 2020 on a high note by treating yourself to some amazing laundry detergent and cleaning supplies. You shouldn’t underestimate how much better your life will be (and how much better your clothes will smell)! And with cult-favorite The Laundress’s Cyber Monday sale, you can discounts on your faves or go rogue and try something new.

The Laundress is offering 25 percent off with the code SAVE25, and they’re throwing in a stain bar for free. If that wasn’t enough, there’s also free shipping on orders over $50. And when they mean site-wide, they mean site-wide. The Laundress did a collab with fan-favorite luxury perfume brand Le Labo, and those detergents are on sale as well.

Just think: Your clothes, towels and bedding can smell like Santal 33…All. The. Time. You can wrap yourself up in sheets and a comforter washed in a detergent that’s modeled off of two of Le Labo’s most famous perfumes—Santal 33 and Rose 31. That’s almost better than wearing the perfume as your signature scent every day. Or alternatively, you could go full Le Labo and use both the perfume and The Laundress detergent line. That’s some true commitment.

In addition to the Le Labo collab, The Laundress also offers gift sets and home cleaning products, so your home—which you are spending more time than ever in—can be fresh-smelling and clean. On The Laundress’ website, everything is broken down by what you need to wash or clean, so you’ll never accidentally use a harsh detergent or product on delicate cashmere, for example. They demystify cleaning and washing for you, so you don’t have to text your mom for advice anymore.

Get shopping, because the sale ends tonight, but you’ll smell good forever!

Our mission at STYLECASTER is to bring style to the people, and we only feature products we think you’ll love as much as we do. Please note that if you purchase something by clicking on a link within this story, we may receive a small commission of the sale.

Billie Eilish Just Clapped Back at Trolls Who Said She ‘Got Fat’ in That Tank Top Photo

In her annual Vanity Fair interview, Billie Eilish responded to the fat-shaming she received over a tank top photo that went viral in October. One tweet in particular drew criticism from fans of the 18-year-old singer: “In 10 months Billie Eilish has developed a mid-30’s wine mom body,” it read. Now, Eilish is finally putting that body-shamer in their place.

“There’s this picture of me running from my car to my brother’s front door on like a 110 degree day in a tank top,” Eilish told Vanity Fair in a video interview shared on Monday, November 30. “And people were like, ‘Damn, Billie got fat!’ And I’m like, ‘Nope, this is how I look, you’ve just never seen it before!'” The Grammy-winner is known for wearing baggy clothes, which she has spoken out about having a preference for due to her experiences with body-shamers. The tank-top day was an exception—but her response clearly lets the haters know that she’s comfortable in her own skin.

This isn’t the first time Eilish has clapped back at body-shamers, either. In March, the songwriter kicked off her Where Do We Go? World Tour with a short film titled “NOT MY RESPONSIBILITY,” where she took off her shirt to deliver a powerful message. “Do you know me? Do you really know me?” Eilish said in the film. “You have opinions about my opinions, about my music, about my clothes, about my body. Some people hate what I wear; some people praise it. Some people use it to shame others; some people use it to shame me.”

She continued, “So while I feel your stares, your disapproval or your sighs of relief, if I lived by them, I’d never be able to move. Would you like me to be smaller? Weaker? Softer? Taller? Would you like me to be quiet? Do my shoulders provoke you? Does my chest? Am I my stomach? My hips? The body I was born with, is it not what you wanted?”

“If I wear what is comfortable, I am not a woman. If I shed the layers, I am a slut,” she concluded. “Though you’ve never seen my body, you still judge it and judge me for it. Why?”

Trader Joe’s Just Dropped Its 12 Days Of Beauty Advent Calendar & It Will Sell Out

I don’t know about you, but I LOVE a good advent calendar. With so many different varieties out there—from perfume samplers to beauty goodies to to even a calendar full of dog treats for your beloved pup—it can be a little overwhelming to choose just one to commit to for a full month of treats, so I just had to bring you the best advent calendars for 2020 so you could ~explore your options~.

There’s something so satisfying about popping a piece of cardboard or pulling open a mini drawer to reveal something new every day, whether it’s as simple as a piece of chocolate or as thrilling as a brand new lipstick. Plus, it makes the countdown to Christmas that much more enjoyable.

As a kid, all I wanted were the candy calendars filled with chocolate Santas, mini peppermint sticks and marshmallow snowmen. Sadly, however, my Jewish parents weren’t super into subscribing to Christmas traditions, so I just mooched off of my gentile friends’ calendars whenever I could. Now that I am an adult with my own bank account from which I can buy all the advent calendars I want, I find myself drawn less to the candy-filled calendars and more drawn toward the boozy and beauty-filled ones. I mean, waking up every day in December to a fun-sized beauty surprise or mini tequila bottle sounds exactly like the kind of holiday cheer I need in my life.

There’s truly an advent calendar out there for every type of person, whether you’re a beauty fanatic, wine expert or tea aficionado. Below, I’ve lined up some of my favorites on offer right now, some of which are affordable and fun and others that are total bougie splurges. Plus, they’re not all Christmas calendars. You can count down to any holiday! Or just New Year’s Eve. We all could use a little pick-me-up.

Scroll down to shop them all, and if you feel like you deserve more than one calendar this December, I won’t argue with you.
