Ariana Grande’s ’34 + 35′ Lyrics Are Even Dirtier With Doja Cat & Megan Thee Stallion

Whew, Ariana Grande’s “34+35” lyrics and meaning have had fans talking non-stop since the track dropped in October 2020—but listeners have become even more obsessed after she released her remix of the song with Doja Cat and Megan Thee Stallion in February 2021.

Just when we thought the song couldn’t get any more steamy, Grande released the music video for “34 + 35” with Doja and Megan on Friday, February 12. The music video saw the three superstars lounge around in lingerie, sip champagne and sing about, well, sex.

In case you weren’t aware, yes, Ari’s “34+35” is an ode to lovers, just like many songs on her new album PositionsBut beyond giving us an intimate (and I mean, intimate) glimpse into her new relationship with boyfriend Dalton Gomez, a real-estate agent from Los Angeles who fans believe started dating the singer in March, Ariana Grande’s “34+35” is *the* bedroom banger of Ari’s latest record (dare we say, of the year). And that’s coming from an entire album whose name is literally Positions, OK?

It’s raunchy. It’s horny as hell. It’s about 69ing (“34+35,” add it up). It’s the sexual empowerment jam that socially distanced hotties needed in 2020. Ari doesn’t hold back, and with lyrics like, “Got the neighbors yellin’ “Earthquake!” / 4.5 when I make the bed shake,” or “you might need a seatbelt when I ride it,” let’s just say that we now know a lot more about her relationship with Dalton than we asked to know.

While Ariana doesn’t shout-out her new beau by name or anything, it’s pretty clear that she’s referencing her new man. A source spoke to Us Weekly in August all about how Dalton is satisfying “her needs” in ways that other partners have never been able to before. “He is the type of guy she has been looking for,” the source said at the time. “He’s very protective of her, will go out of his way for her and does little things that are chivalrous. Dalton will go above and beyond to meet her needs.” Thanks to “34+35,” you already know what that means.

But Ari isn’t just lusting out with Dalton—there’s a moment on “34+35” that seems to suggest she’s ready for a serious future with the Los Angelino. She asks about forever with her lover: “who’s counting the time when we got it for life?” Earlier, Ari even teases wanting kids with him when she playfully sings, “You might think I’m crazy/The way I’ve been cravin’/If I put it quite plainly/Just give me them babies.” If it happens, here’s our hint not to be too surprised!

[Ariana Grande]

Hmm

You might think I’m crazy

The way I’ve been craving

If I put it quite plainly

Just gimme them babies

So what you doing tonight?

Better say, “Doing you right” (Yeah)

Watching movies, but we ain’t seen a thing tonight (Yeah)

I don’t wanna keep you up (You up)

But show me, can you keep it up? (It up)

‘Cause then I’ll have to keep you up

Shit, maybe I’ma keep you up, boy

I’ve been drinking coffee (I’ve been drinking coffee; coffee)

And I’ve been eating healthy (I’ve been eating healthy; healthy)

You know I keep it squeaky, yeah (You know I keep it squeaky)

Saving up my energy (Yeah, yeah, saving up my energy)

Can you stay up all night?

Fuck me ’til the daylight

Thirty-four, thirty-five (Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)

Can you stay up all night? (All night)

Fuck me ’til the daylight

Thirty-four, thirty-five (Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)

[Doja Cat]

Can we stay up all night? Fuck a jet lag

You bring your fine ass and overnight bag

Add up the numbers or get behind that

Play and rewind that, listen, you’ll find that

I want that six-nine without Tekashi

And I want your body and I make it obvious

Wake up the neighbors, we got an audience

They hear the clapping, but we not applauding ’em

Six o’clock and I’m crushing

Then it get to seven o’clock now he wants it

When it hit eight o’clock, we said, “Fuck it”

Forget your girl, pretend that I’m her

Come make the cat purr, come make my back hurt, ayy

Making that squirt and rain and shower and spray

Now that’s perfect, baby, we don’t sleep enough

But I’ma keep you up, if you could keep it up (Baby)

[Ariana Grande]

Can you stay up all night? (All night)

Fuck me ’til the daylight (Daylight)

Thirty-four, thirty-five (Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)

Can you stay up all night? (Can you stay?)

Fuck me ’til the daylight (Can you stay?)

Thirty-four, thirty-five (Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)

[Megan Thee Stallion]

Rock you like a baby, but you know I’m ’bout to keep you up

Welcome to my channel, and today I’m ’bout to teach you something

I can make you pop, legs up like a Cancan

Wake the neighbors up, make it sound like the band playing

Bitch, let me get cute (Yeah)

He’s about to come through (He’s about to come through)

I’ve been in the shower for ’bout a whole hour

He finna act a dog in it so he get the bald kitty

Netflix or Hulu? Baby, you choose

I’m up like Starbucks, three pumps, ooh

This pussy good for ya health, call it superfood

When I’m by myself, DIY like it’s YouTube

Bad, bad bitch, all the boys wanna spank me (Spank me)

Left him on read, girlfriend need to thank me (Thank me)

Make his toes point, ballerina, no tutu

Baby, I’m the best, I don’t know what the rest do (Ayy, ayy, ayy, yeah)

Dive in that water like a private island

Thirty-four, thirty-five, we can sixty-nine it

And I been a bad girl but this pussy on the good list (Good list)

I hope you ain’t tired, we ain’t stopping ’til I finish (Ayy, ayy, ayy, yeah)

[Ariana Grande]

Can you stay up all night?

Fuck me ’til the daylight (Yeah, yeah)

Thirty-four, thirty-five (Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)

(Thirty-four, thirty-five)

Can you stay up all night? (Do you know what that means?)

Fuck me ’til the daylight (Do you know what that means?)

Thirty-four, thirty-five (Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)

Yeah, yeah, yeah

It means I wanna “69” with you
